October Aims: Christmas shopping?!

Tuesday, 7 October 2014
As it is officially October (HALLOWEEN!!!) I've decided I've got a few things I need to stop/keep/start doing this month!

//1// Start my Christmas shopping
Now this one is something I REALLY want to do. Every year I find myself struggling to find things a few weeks before the big day and I feel like I could do some more creative things this year for Christmas or buy more personal items. Unfortunately, Christmas can tend to cost a lot of money. Something I didn't have the past few years due to being in a job with a fixed wage and no opportunity to do overtime. Now I'm in a different job and I worked a lot over the summer to get some well deserved 'wonga' of which I plan to spend wisely and generously. (With a few nice things for myself along the way of course ;) I'm also in London later on this month and hope to find some quirky presents for people!

//2// Go to the Gym

Believe it or not I have a gym membership. Do I really use it? No.
I find it so hard to juggle Sixth Form, a Job, a blog, school work AND the gym!
I'm determined to fit it in here and there even if it's only once a week.

//3// Stay organised
This one kind of links to both of my pervious points but I feel like I NEED organisation in my life right now. Not just organisation but a routine. I cannot stay up until 1AM writting a blog post (This is example A) I need to go to sleep and schedule things like this into my daily life if I'm going to get the right balance.

//4// Relax

I feel like my final aim for October juxtaposes the other serious and more orderly points above but I think it is just as important. The fact I feel like I need to perform at my peek for the remainder of Year 13, Having a job, writing a blog and applying to university (This process alone could send anyone to insanity) are all starting to stress me out. I've already had a fair few breakdowns in my first month back and can foreshadow at least 40 more. I do NOT deal with stress well. Therefore, I am seeing relaxation as practically vital to my mental health and overall sanity!
